In the United States the United States Parcel Services uses planes to transfer mail sparingly. Costs to ship are inexpensive, however tracking is horrible, no insurance is offered for some international shipping, and expect your package to arrive in pieces (if it arrives at all). Inside the United States I swear by USPS but internationally this is the least desirable option for international shipping. Wigix members should use FedEx for shipping products sold on Wigix.
Better Option: UPS International Shipping
UPS offers everything that Fed Ex does but is much more expensive. They are the market leader in the United States and charge a premium for the same services as FedEx. You get expedited shipping by plane, insurance included in the price, customs forms, package tracking, easy Internet package pick-up scheduling, and many other premium services offered by many parcel shipping companies. Wigix members should use UPS sparingly because of the cost to ship is close to 1.5x that of FedEx.
Best Option: FedEx International Shipping
FedEx is the least expensive of the parcel services for international shipping and still offers expedited shipping by plane, insurance included in cost, full tracking, and easy Internet label printing and drop off, expedited customs, and all for less than UPS. Wigix members should use FedEx for all products sold on Wigix and ship with confidence.
The bottom line is ship with FedEx and don’t sent your products sold on Wigix blindly with the governments parcel service.
